       Our sensory bases are crafted from carefully selected, food-grade, eco-friendly, and non-toxic materials to ensure they are safe and enjoyable for children’s play. We use natural ingredients like rice, pasta, dried legumes, and other gentle sensory-friendly items that encourage exploration while being safe for little hands and curious mouths.

We prioritize safety by ensuring that all ingredients are safe for little hands and curious mouths. If any item in a pack is not food-grade, it will be clearly labelled so you know exactly what you’re getting. Transparency and safety are always our top priorities.

Our sensory bases are made from natural ingredients like rice, pasta, legumes, and other dried goods. When stored properly—in a cool, dry place inside an airtight container or resealable bag—they can last for several months. Over time, pasta pieces may crack or break; usually, this doesn’t affect play, but if any pieces feel sharp or could cause harm, it’s best to discard and replace the base to keep play safe and fun. Always check for changes in smell, texture, or color, and replace if needed.

   4. How should I store the sensory materials?

To keep your sensory materials fresh and safe for continued play, store them in an airtight container or resealable bag in a cool, dry place—away from moisture and direct sunlight. Proper storage helps extend the life of your materials and keeps them in great condition for little hands to enjoy. Always ensure the materials are completely dry before storing to prevent mould or spoilage.

   5. Are your products safe for babies or toddlers under 3?

Our products are made from non-toxic, food-grade materials and are designed to be taste-safe, but they are not meant for eating. The sensory rice base (rice only) may be suitable for children under 3 with close adult supervision. While we carefully select safe ingredients, small parts or broken pieces (like pasta) may still pose a choking risk. ALWAYS SUPERVISE young children during play, and use your judgment based on their developmental stage and mouthing habits. If in doubt, it’s best to remove or replace any item that may cause harm.

   6. What’s the difference between Everyday Colours, Magical Blends, and Theme Kits?

🌈 Everyday Colours
These are simple, beautifully dyed sensory bases made from one type of dried good only — like rice, chickpeas, or pasta — in a single solid colour. Perfect for colour sorting, scooping, pouring, and open-ended play with materials you already have at home.

✨ Magical Blends
Magical Blends are playful, multi-textured mixes that combine colours, dried goods, and a touch of shimmer or sparkle. Each blend is designed to feel extra enchanting and imaginative — great for themed trays or when you want a little wow factor.

🎨 Theme Kits
Theme Kits include a coordinated sensory base and matching loose parts inspired by a specific theme (like Ocean, Garden, or Construction). They’re perfect for storytelling, small world play, or ready-to-go sensory setups.

   7. Can I request custom colours or a special theme?

Absolutely! I welcome your ideas and love creating custom sensory blends to suit your child’s favourite colours, themes, or occasions. You're welcome to request specific colours for particular base materials too — like pink chickpeas or ocean-toned rice.

Magic Fizz is made from taste-safe, non-toxic, food-grade ingredients. It's completely safe for little hands—and okay if a small taste happens during play!

9. How do I use it, and what can I add?
Simply add water and watch it fizz! You can add your own scoops, tools, or small toys to extend the sensory play experience.

Magic Fizz is best suited for ages 3+ with supervision. Always supervise younger children to ensure safe play.

11. Can I reuse it once it’s fizzed?
Once fizzed, the reaction can’t be repeated—but you can keep playing with the leftover texture (it makes great sensory slush!). Discard after play.

12. Will it stain, and what should I play it on?
Some colours may temporarily stain skin—especially during longer play—but it usually washes off with warm water and soap after a couple of washes. To keep things tidy, we recommend using a washable tray, messy mat, or playing outdoors to protect surfaces and make clean-up easier.

13. Can I use it in the bath like a bath bomb?
Nope—Magic Fizz is made for water-activated sensory play, not for use in the bath. While it fizzes like a bath bomb, it's not formulated for bathing and may affect water quality or stain surfaces. It's best enjoyed in a tray or container during supervised play.

15. Is Magic Fizz scented?
No, our fizz is currently unscented. We focus on safe, sensory-rich play without added fragrances—but we’re happy to explore scents in future if it's something you'd love to see!
